Right in time for the holidays, OpenText releases Content Manager v25.4. Of note, this is the Long-term Support (LTS) release. This version is supported for a longer period of time and is the recommended version as you consider upgrading.

It is important to stay on a supported version for a number of reasons - and these reasons don't change: 

1. Security! Keeping your records on and in a secure and compliant environment. Older versions sitting in older or unsupported operating systems can pose a risk to the authenticity of your records. Cybersecurity wants to know that trusted vendors are keeping your records protected by releasing products that are up to date. 
2. Performance Improvement! From upgrade times to business-as-usual processing, newer versions are destined to drive better outcomes.
3. Bug Fixes! Clients and the vendor will find areas that need adjustment and resolution, so if you found something, look for it in the release notes.

These reasons help you weigh the value of the upgrade as against business requirements as new features and functions do change!

3. Barcode Scanning in the mobile app

The current maintenance ends for these versions on the following dates:

What a great conference in Phoenix! Dan and Erik connected and reconnected with so many attendees at ARMA's annual InfoCon. From Information Governance sessions, to AI, to File Share Cleanups, there were great education sessions giving insight across many verticals. The show was well attended and Phoenix gave us great weather and dining destinations. We look forward to the next opportunity to connect in person!
