Right in time for the holidays, OpenText releases Content Manager v25.4. Of note, this is the Long-term Support (LTS) release. This version is supported for a longer period of time and is the recommended version as you consider upgrading.
It is important to stay on a supported version for a number of reasons - and these reasons don't change:
These reasons help you weigh the value of the upgrade as against business requirements as new features and functions do change!

What a great conference in Phoenix! Dan and Erik connected and reconnected with so many attendees at ARMA's annual InfoCon. From Information Governance sessions, to AI, to File Share Cleanups, there were great education sessions giving insight across many verticals. Data Privacy Week is JAN27-JAN31 2025! The National Cybersecurity Alliance (NCA) expanded Data Privacy Day into Data Privacy Week because your data is that important! Data Privacy Day began in the United States and Canada in January of 2008. It is an extension of Data Protection Day in Europe, which commemorates the January 28, 1981 signing of Convention 108, the first legally binding international treaty dealing with privacy and data protection. We joined as a Data Privacy Week Champion this year to help promote the value of your data and how to protect it. We perform activities rooted in protecting information through implementations of Content Manager and File Analysis. End user feature enhancements in the Web Client are a focus of the 24.4 release for Content Manager. Casual end user functionality to more advanced activities are possible for those doing record queries via the web client. See the video below for new ways to apply filters and column adjustments!
